George Lowden Luthier Guitar: by George, Himself

2001, used, Brazilian Rosewood model S handcrafted by George Lowden personally.

Mastergrade Brazilian Rosewood back & sides.

German Spruce top.

5 piece laminated neck of Mahogany & Rosewood.

Brazilian Rosewood headstock front & back veneers.

The headstock is double in Ebony and koa as is the fretboard.

The body bindings are extremely dark & rich curly koa.

Brazilian rosewood pinless, split saddle bridge.

Gold Schaller tuning machines.

Abalone rosette inlayed in Maple.

The condition is excellent for a 2001 guitar. There are some pick and fingernail marks where a pickguard would go.

The sound is unREAL !   Completely open and mature, tons of projection and sustain. It doesn't get any better.
