Froggy Bottom 40th Anniversary Ltd Ed Parlor

Froggy Bottom 40th Anniversary Ltd Ed. P-12 Guitar in Brazilian Rosewood

This is the only Parlor model 40th anniversary Froggy Bottom guitar.

The Brazililan Rosewood is from the 1940 time period, a set Michael has been saving for a very special guitar, for many, many years.

The top is Mastergrade Adirondack Spruce.

We opted for 42 style appointments.

So, we have abalone rosette & back center strip.

Fancy Froggy Bottom fretboard markers, as well as the unique 40th Anniversary 12th fret inlay.

Abalone top purfling and fretboard termination purfling.

Flame Big Leaf Maple body bindings, end graft, and neck heel grafts.

Tortoiseshell colored pickguard.

Ebony fretboard & bridge.

Slotted headstock, bound with exquisite Frog logo in abalone.

Brazilian Rosewood headstock faceplate.

Hand Engraved, nickel Waverly tuning machines.

Engraved mammoth ivory heelcap of a wise, old owl.

The sound is as good as it gets...

Gutsy, loud, but with plenty of finese.

Honey Beige/Green Calton deluxe case included.

This guitar appears inside the back cover of The FRETBOARD JOURNAL, Summer 2011 issue.
