1928 Gibson L-1 Peanut Guitar

1928 Gibson L-1 Peanut Flattop

There is something so tantalizing about this shape!

The 13 1/2" wide, circular lower bout & rounded upper bout resemble the shape of a peanut, hence the nickname.

This model is All Mahogany.

The top & back are bound with ivory colored bindings.

Rosewood fretboard with 3 MOP dots.

Short Brazilian rosewood bridge with slight belly & straight bevel ends.

White bridge pins with an extra pin below the bridge pins. (FUN!)

The Gibson  Script headstock logo.

3 on a plate tuning machines with Ivory buttons.

Comfortable "C" profile neck.

This guitar is in exceptional shape and appears to be All original.
